SikaCoat-555 micro-fibre reinforced acrylic roof coating

A one-component, water-based liquid coating that primes itself and is reinforced with micro fibres, forming a flexible waterproof membrane. Use it on flat and sloped exposed roofs, external walls and roofs with details such as drains and skylights, over concrete, mortar, cement-based surfaces and metal (steel, zinc, aluminium). It reflects sunlight and goes on by roller, brush or airless spray.

• Pack: 5 kg or 20 kg pail
• Colour: white or grey (other colours on request, minimum order applies)
• Primer coat: diluted with 15–20 % clean water, about 0.3 kg/m²
• Roof: 2 coats at about 0.65 kg/m² each; walls: 2 coats at about 0.3 kg/m² each
• Elongation at break about 200 %; tensile strength about 2.5 N/mm²
• Solar reflectance about 81.5 %; solar reflectance index about 102
• Recoat after 1–2 hours at +25 °C (maximum about 24 hours); ready for use after about 72 hours
• Apply when air and substrate are +5 °C to +35 °C; substrate moisture 4 % or less
• Shelf life: 12 months in sealed pails
