Sikalastic-590 PU-acrylic roof waterproofing coating

A ready-to-use, water-based polyurethane-modified acrylic coating that forms a seamless, highly elastic, crack-bridging roof membrane. It handles limited ponding water, resists UV, yellowing and weathering, and bonds to porous and non-porous surfaces. Use it for new and refurbished roofs, especially roofs with many details, and to extend the life of failing roofs. It can be applied as a plain coating or reinforced with Sika Reemat Premium-120 at joints, cracks and details; the white grade is reflective and helps cut cooling costs.

• Colour: grey or white
• Without reinforcement: primer (diluted with 10 % water) about 0.3 kg/m², then 2 coats at about 0.5 kg/m² each
• With Sika Reemat Premium-120 reinforcement: primer, base coat, reinforcement mat, then 2–3 top coats (see Sika system table for amounts)
• Density about 1.32 kg/L; solids about 63 % by weight
• Water-vapour permeable; non-toxic, VOC-compliant
• Store at +5 °C to +30 °C; shelf life 12 months in sealed pails
