SikaLatex SP latex additive for cement mortars

A synthetic rubber (styrene-butadiene) latex emulsion added to cement mortar where good adhesion and water resistance are needed. It suits tropical conditions. Use it in thin patching mortars, renders, floor screeds, concrete repair mortars, abrasion-resistant linings, tile-fixing mortars and masonry mortars. It improves adhesion and elasticity, reduces shrinkage, and raises water, abrasion and chemical resistance. It is ready to use, non-corrosive and does not re-emulsify in high alkaline conditions.

• Pack: 5 L or 20 L pail, 200 L drum; milky white liquid
• Added to the clean mixing water at 1 : 1 to 1 : 2.5 (latex : water), depending on the application
• Aggregate size by thickness: under 2 mm → 0–0.5 mm; 2–5 mm → 0–1 mm; 5–15 mm → 0–3 mm; over 15 mm → 0–7 mm
• Density 1.00 kg/L; no chloride
• Store sealed and dry, away from sunlight; shelf life 12 months
