Sika WT-220 PMY crystalline waterproofing admixture for concrete

A combined water-resisting and crystalline waterproofing admixture added to concrete to lower its permeability. Its active ingredients form insoluble material through the pores and capillaries of the concrete, which seals it against water and other liquids and helps cracks heal themselves. Use it for watertight concrete in tunnels, basements, culverts, canals, water tanks, inspection chambers, manholes and swimming pools. It reduces water penetration under pressure and water absorption, improves chemical resistance and reduces vapour transmission. It is not a moisture vapour barrier.

• Joints still need sealing: Sika recommends waterbars and Sika joint systems for construction and movement joints
